Are tattoos on the SIDE of lower back trashy?

i would get it on one of your hips like low kinda wear your underwear comes up to your hip
or on your sholderbalde

It totally depends on the tattoo then. I have a butterfly on my ankle and it’s beautiful but butterflies done badly can look awful. If you’re getting some kinda tribal looking butterfly.. DO NOT DO IT.
Get it done there. It sounds like a nice place. Just choose the design carefully…

I dont think tattoos on your lower back a trashy at all. i think they’re really nice. and although the lower side back isnt anyway cause its not going to be big and butterflies can’t even be classified as trashy

It’s not having tattoos that’s trashy, it’s more the design that can be trashy. Make sure you pick a good image that means something to you.

if its in the tramp stamp area its a tramp stamp. if you want a pretty butterfly why not get it where YOU can see it?

kind of depends on the persons point of view.
i know people that think all tattoo’s are trashy, i know people that think all tatts aren’t trashy.
who cares what other people think?
if you think it’s going to be really pretty like you said up there, get it.
if you really want it.
just make sure you won’t regret it in the long run (:

This is a running joke amoung tattoo artists. Girls come in, wanting so badly to avoid the ‘tramp stamp’ lable, that they get ‘em off to one side, when they would have looked much better, had they been centered. We laughingly refer to them as ‘ho handles’. (he he!) Sorry, but you asked…

it’s your body get it where you want it and don’t worry about what other people think, it’s for you not them i have a lower back tattoo and i don’t consider mine a tramp stamp, i think the label of tramp stamp all depends on the person with the tattoo and their behavior not the placement of the tattoo

miss. the word tramp stamp is just ignorant morons who have no clue about art. just people who must learn 4 words. LEARN RESPECT FOR WOMEN . ancient egypt used fantastic art work centuries ago on women. male ego started art late 1800s. people who call art on a woman’s back tramp stamp are just ignorant fools. their is nor ever will be a tramp stamp. it is just feeble minds showing disrespect to women. you have to much class for these people. your butterfly will look fantastic. stay strong. ignore the fools.
