Your baby really doesnt stretch signigicantly as long as it doesnt go around your sides. If you are really worried id suggest to wait until after you have kids but my best friend has a lower back tat and has had kids and it still looks the same

I dont have an answer for you because I dont have a lower back tattoo, yet, lol. But, I think it would be fine, the only way you’d have problems with it stretching is if you gain ALOT of weight, and then you have stretch mark issues etc…..

So if this is a great concern for you, maybe wait on getting it until after the baby is born.

I have had three babies and i have had my tattoo on my lower back way before i had my kids, and my tattoo looks exactly the same no streching or anything. But i have friends who have had kids and have tattoos in the same area who did have some streching there and its not a pretty sight. It depends on your your skin and how your body takes to the changes of carrying a baby, i suggest u wait unti after having a baby just so your on the safe side.

i have a tat on lower back and gained a lot of weight while pregnant with my daughter ( she was a 8 lb 11 oz baby) lost all the weight and the tat looks as good as before pregnancy if you have concerns when you get pregnant then when you are rubbing your belly with cocoa butter be sure to get the tattoo too to keep the skin elastic

mine didn’t at all. i have a back piece that goes from kidney to kidney and it looks the exact same as it did before i had my daughter. it might if you gain a huge amount of weight, and it depends on your skin
