It seems pretty popular with girls and boys. Not into myself though.

  2. Marty Says:

I like them, but I like tattoos anyway.

  3. Lollipop Says:

Don’t do it! Obviously I’m not a guy but you shouldn’t let your actions rest on whether a guy will approve or not. What may look great when young will look awful when you’re pushing 50! Don’t do it – there are plenty of other ways to look beautiful. I have many friends who have had it done – all who regret it in the long run.

  4. some_dude_in_america Says:

I actually think the tribal patterns look pretty kewl, I just wish these women would all show them to me, lol.

  5. TJ O Says:

i think most guys prefer the natural look, tattoo’s are a bit of a turn off, obviously not all blokes but alot of them do anyway. But i still had one done a few years ago, and i actually really regret having it done, simply because i know i have to live with it unless i pay extortionate prices to have it lasered off – which will elave me with a scar anyway. But if you want one done, go for it, don’t consider what guys think, it’s your body and you can do what u wantwith it. Don’t let a guy’s opinion put you off!!!!!!!

    Go girl

  6. grebow26 Says:

there well out of date and dont look that attractive, time to re-think for the ladys!!

  7. properwired Says:

Very chav awful makes them look like hookers

  8. pokerpoker p Says:

I’m not a guy ever but i love them i got two one on my ankle of a butterfly an a little one on my lower back of my name in Chinese …an every one likes mine !!! it all depends on the person do they really want one if yes get it if no then don’t !

  9. jhn_scholey Says:

I dont mind them,as long as there not too big.

  10. Carrie S Says:

They are known in the music industry as tramp stamps. In America they are slag tags.

  11. Steven C Says:

    What, a tramp stamp?

  12. Jay Says:

They’re getting way too popular. We like to call them the tramp stamp. It’s just not unique anymore…not so **** anymore. Want something ****? Go with the hip…that’s hot.

  13. Bob Says:

I think tattoos are trashy. There is nothing uglier than an old tattoo on wrinkled skin. They’re hard to remove, even with the latest laser machines.

  14. jaygirl Says:

They are so been there done that, and as hipster jeans are going out of fashion they wont be seen unless you are in your underwear/bikini so why bother? Have a temp one and see what you think of it.

  15. Englishcad Says:

Good question, could one of you girlie’s get a short book written on there(I already have somewhere to put my glass of shampers)so I have something to read when Cad is working his magic.

  16. LovexRemedy Says:

ive got one, had it for a while, still love it, will always love it, go for it girl, theyre sexy

  17. funkster Says:

Don’t do it!!! All girls have tats these days. They’re common and look cheap. If it came down to it i’d turn down a girl with tats as apposed to a natural girl!

  18. J. S. Says:

Well, if you really want to join the line-up of so-called ‘individuals’ all doing the same thing – go ahead. I so enjoy those with the Chinese characters, you know the people who couldn’t even pronouce those characters if they tried…

  19. Billie B Says:

I don’t like Tattoos on girls at all. All the guys i know agree. They are just so not femanine. But then again it is your decision at the end of the day. If you are happy who cares about anyone else. Life is too short! Enjoy! :)

  20. slim36 Says:

they are definately hot, tribal is probably the best

  21. Neil J Says:

Personally I think tattoo’s on women look awful. Mind I think they look awful on men too, so hopefully I am not being sexist.

I would compare it to drawing a moustache on the Mona Lisa. It might make the picture more interesting but it just doesn’t look right.

  22. lrb081 Says:

I’m not a guy, but I’ll still give my input.

I personally think that the lower back tattoo is overused these days. It seems everyone and their mother has one.

Just keep in mind, are you going to still enjoy this tattoo when you’re 80 years old?

Also, keep in mind it’s often times referred to as a tramp stamp. I’m not saying you’re a whore, but some people may view you differently for the above reason. Just some things to consider.

  23. JENN Says:

i have one and i love it…my boyfrine on the other hand calls them tramp stamps. do what u like. he also tells me it looks ****. men. they cant make up their mind. why let them do it for u???

  24. Robbo Says:

The best tattoo I have seen on a ****** back was place beer here with an arrow and a circle !!!

  25. Cherry Says:

Done to death. Everyone seems to have one these days. The world is full of sheep.

  26. Angel B Says:

Wow, LOL at some of these responses. OK here let me sum this up for you. What do YOU think of tatts? Who cares what anyone else thinks? You shouldn’t even care what others (men or women) think of your body. I am continuously telling people NEVER worry what others think. There are so many different types people in this world, there are materialistic people who care about money and what you have, there are the people who only care about looks and the perfect body, there are takers, givers. and then their are the REAL people the ones who love you for you, not you money, not your looks, what you can give etc etc. If there were more REAL people divorce rates would be much lower (lol) Now if you want the tatt because you like body art and because it appeals to YOU, go for it. I would suggest getting one that can be seen ONLY when you want it to (back, ankles, chest) you know places that clothes conceal. Then when you want it to show wear sandals, or half shirts, or something simiiar. I personally have several tatts and I love them. so does my family. I would definitely be careful in choosing the tatt you dont want one you wont want later in life. But whatever you do, do it because it suits YOU and noone else. If a guy you like decides he doesnt like you because of a tatt then you DON’T want him anyway. today he may not like you because of the tatt but say you had it taken off (just an example) but lets say 5-10 yrs from now he would be the same guy who would no longer like you because you have a baby and have stretch marks or gain 10 pounds from being pregnant. OK so now what you should do is go check out a few different tatt shops and look through the designs see if anything jumps out, one you just have to have, have them put the outline on you and if you have to look at in several different places on your body, till one just makes you smile then have it done. Good luck and remember to do this because Y O U want it not because of what other people (men or women) think.

  27. savannah b Says:

THEY WOULD THINK THAT IS HOT!!!!!!!!!

  28. hayles Says:

My husnamd dosnt like tatoos, but i got one on my lower back and he loves it.

  29. Angie Mac Says:

I’m bowing to Angel B for that insightful response! I have to admit, I am female so you might not be interested in my opinion anyway. I have a tatt on my lower back of my family crest. I had it done almost 6 months ago and havent had a single bad comment, look or anything. I’ve had A LOT of compliments from family, friends and strangers both male and female, about how original it is and plenty of questions about what it is and why I chose it and most responses are wow, that is so cool, unique etc etc. Just make sure it is something you’ll still love seeing in the mirror in ten years.

Personally, I don’t think anyone is going to want to see my lower back, tattooed or not when I’m 80 and of course the tatt will be wrinkled and probably quite unattractive but I hope to look at the blurry colours and smile thinking of how much I loved showing it to people when I first had it done and the pride I felt in it.

You’ll get a lot of negative replies (as you already have!) but at the end of the day…your body honey, if you like body art then paint yourself!! ;)

    Ange xx

  30. glitterbug_fairy Says:

go on jump on the band wagon!! They look cheap and ******…

I have seven tattoos, and I will never get a tattoo there because of the lastest trend….

Lower back tattoos also come with micro mini denim skirts, long ugg boots, singlets and don’t forget your scarf girls…..

  31. christy Says:

OK I am not a guy but it seems that a lot of men think that a tattoo in that area is a tramp stamp and that is ridiculous I have a tattoo in that area and I love it, I also have six other tattoos.

  32. Jennifer P Says:

I am a girl but I will say guys seem to like them because they perceive them as ******. Sorry to share the bad news! Good luck with that if you do get one though.

  33. houston taylor Says:

depends on the girl really. ive seen it where i like it, and seen it where i dislike it.

  34. Salem L Says:

TRAMP STAMP!!! Sorry but the truth hurts, that is what my 19 year old son calls em’, he said that they are a sure thing! Of course he’s kinda on the rude side sometimes! But seriously, it’s your body do what YOU want to do!

  35. katester Says:

Not a guy – but – have you got a fat back? If so don’t do it. Yuk.

  36. tiapoquita Says:

My boyfriend calls them skank stamps He thinks girls with tattoos look like ******. He tells me that my body beautiful and that it would be waste to disfigure it with tattoos.

  37. wee_midge89 Says:

thats wer mine is and i luv it
    xox

  38. Tribune Says:

Personally I loathe them every time I see young lady and you see
the tattoo. reminds me of sailors years ago they used to come back with tattoo’s of **** women on their arms also anchors, eagles etc you must be hard up for decoration.Chances are in twenty years time you’ll regret having it done.

  39. kristina807 Says:

Some guys like em…some guys don’t…BUT do you really want to hang out with someone that gets that judgemental about the placement of a tattoo? That would be a bit closed minded of them dontcha think?

  40. bubkiss Says:

Disgusting. A tatoo goes back to the earliest days when man put paint on his face when hunting or fighting. We have just lost 50,000 years and are back to the war paint.

  41. blaze198401 Says:

    hiya,
im agirl but have a tatt on my lower back and the guys seem to love it they like to see it peek just above low waisted jans or when ur on holiday and have bikini on and can see it then i have had loads of comments on how **** it is. but word of warning it does hurt when you get it done although spose it depends on how much pain u can take as some people say its the worst pain evr but i dont think its that extreme i just grit my teeth and handled it lol – hope that helps

  42. MrFrewster Says:

common….tarty……a woman shouldn’t need to put a picture on her body to make her more attractive…..hell, there’s already too much make-up on women already……be natural……think how it’d look when you are your granny’s age.

  43. pamela g Says:

i have one on my ankle. be prepared for the pain. of the 5 i have it was the sorest. not much flesh there so it’s right on the bone.

  44. Leala c Says:

    *wheres the thong*

  45. swmrchick2005 Says:

I have a lower back tattoo and not once has it been called a tramp stamp. I got mine done when I was 16 and its of the claddaugh, the ever so popular Irish symbol of the hands, the heart and the crown that even people who aren’t Irish love to have. I got mine done for personal reasons, and because of how big it is, my artist (he’s also done the other two I have) recommended that I get it done there. If you need to come on here and ask what other people are going to think about something on YOUR body, then you shouldn’t be getting it done. Who cares what other people think about what you’ve done to your body. Yes its a turn off to some and a turn on to others, if its something you want to do and the design you have has some personal meaning to you then by all means go ahead and get inked!

  46. butterfly Says:

who cares what guys think of tattoos? you should be getting one for yourself, not to attract guys. if you care about what people will think about you after you get a tattoo, dont get one.

  47. peter h Says:

These are so sexy, especially if you wear the right clothes, that make men want to see the whole tattoo !!!
