Why do people dislike lower back tattoos so much ?

Are rib tattoos more painful then lower back or lower stomach?

I already have two tattoos. I have a tattoo of two roses and a skeleton key on my lower back that took about 2.5 hrs. And my other tattoo is on my right lower stomach took about 20 min. I’m getting a French saying on my ribs next (in a month or so), and just wanted to know what is to be expected. I have a pretty high pain level.
